As the calender pages turned to December, our family took a day to prepare for the joyous Christmas season. What a beautiful season this is to celebrate! The wonder of a King born in a manger. A Savior. Love personified. Forgiveness possible. Fellowship restored. We have reason to celebrate!Since we're home this December, we've enjoyed the opportunity to make our home festive for the season. This included the adventure of looking for just the right tree to decorate our home!

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son,
and they shall call His name Immanuel,"
which is translated, "God with us."
Matt 1:23

Your tree is beautiful, and so large! And the "exaggerated expressions" picture made me laugh. =)
I have a random question for you. What do you use as a tree topper? I can't tell from the pictures...is it a brown star? We've used an angel in years past, but that just didn't seem "right", so this year we have a cross made out of sticks. It's unique, yet it points to God's love. =)
Have a wonderfully blessed Christmas season!
That is a perfect tree! ;) Your picture of the 'strong' men made me laugh.. they remind me of my brothers.
Beautiful decorations!! What a wonderful time of year to celebrate Christ's birth!
Christmas blessings,
